Mary Dickerson’s love of romance novels began with Rebecca. Victoria Holt and Mary Stewart soon followed, and she never looked back. Her career as an international flight attendant gave her inspiration for exotic locales and dashing heroes, yet the call to write remained unanswered. After many years of procrastination, she penned the first few words of A NOTE OF PROMISE which was named a 1999 Golden Heart Finalist by Romance Writers of America.

A member of RWA since 1998, Mary is proud to be a member of several online chapters, including the Golden Network. In 2001, she co-founded the Yellow Rose RWA to bring a friendly, welcoming atmosphere to romance authors in the North Texas area. Now a long distance member, Mary resides in the Cincinnati area with her real-life hero and two extremely spoiled dogs.
